About Us
Stable Precision began trading as an Engineering Company in the late 1980's and is currently based in Dorset, Christchurch. The Company was formed by Triss Sharp, who has owned the Company from its inception until 2005, when Stable Precision Engineering Ltd. was formed. From the beginning, Triss has brought his own sense of integrity and high standards to the Company, striving to achieve a good working environment, and a satisfied list of Clients. This has been reflected in a Company that takes pride in its work, and Customers who are happy in their association with the Company.
Late 2005 saw some re-structuring resulting in a new company being formed - Stable Precision Engineering Ltd. Sally O'Shea (Works Manager since 1999) and Bryan Harris (Works Foreman) were made Directors, with Triss remaining a Director but taking more of a back-seat role in the new company. The Company remains at the forefront of precision engineering subcontracting, and continues to offer the best possible quality and service in the industry. Our Customer base is varied, including Aero, Hydraulics, Medical, Rail, Scientific research, Microwave, Electronics, MOD Related, Marine and Leisure Industries.

We employ advanced inspection techniques and tools to guarantee that every component we produce meets the highest industry standards. Yoursatisfaction and confidence in our work are of utmost importance to us.
All jobs are assigned an individual works order number for traceability, and raw material is purchased specifically for each job. We have bonded store areas for unallocated material. Each job is inspected at every stage, and only released for despatch after a final inspection
Parts can be supplied with First Article Inspection Reports and full traceability, backed by certificates for all processes.
In order to continue to meet our customers’ requirements and maintain a high level of efficiency, Stable Precision work to a quality management system that meets ISO 9001:2015.
We have a variety of statements available explaining conformance to various industry standards and practises upon request.

Sally O'Shea will be your first point of contact, although all office staff will be able to assist with enquiries.
Sally has been in the Subcontract Engineering Business for 35 years, working in the Poole area before coming to Stable as General Manager in 1999. She has been a Company Director since Stable became a Limited Company in 2005.
